Ads are sold with headlines touting to be at top of your game, never attract derision, and excel at playing the social game. Above all; be young, enticing, and smart.

No one can be all of that. Those who appear this way struggle to keep the facade propped up. It’s a scam designed to sell products, exchange reality for unrealistic expectations, and stir up intense judgment of one another. And it doesn’t work. Instead, it creates depression, exhaustion, wasted finances, and has even led to suicide.
